WHAT IS THE SWIPURE LGB FILTER?
It is a device that sterilises the water in your dental unit and protects it from impurities in the pipes.
Operators and patients are often exposed to the risk of cross-infection. The mains water supplying the dental unit water circuit contains micro-organisms that, over time, attach to the walls of the ducts and produce a biofilm. The water supply is thus contaminated by a high density of micro-organisms, chiefly gram-negative bacteria such as Pseudomonas aeruginosa (especially legionella) and other pathogens such as Staphylococcus aureus.
WHAT DOES THE SWIPURE FILTER DO?
It completely eliminates the bacterial load in the mains water supplying the dental unit water circuit.
The Swipure LGB filter is certified by the University of Parma, which ran tests with bacterial and viral
suspensions (e.g. Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli and Enterovirus).
Total blockage of any micro-particles over 0.05 micron contained in the mains water supplying the dental unit
water circuit, thus protecting the micromotor, turbine and solenoid valves from possible occlusions.
The Swipure LGB filter is NSF certified.
The activated charcoal filter inside the Swipure LGB filter guarantees the
elimination of all organic residue and chlorine from the water, thus avoiding unpleasant tastes and odours.
An essential device that safeguards patients, the dental team and all of the dental unit's instruments.
